Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I purchase one appointment to start or I have to purchase by packages?

A: You can absolutely start with a single session! If you like it and find that it can be valuable to you, then I'd recommend buying a package, so you that you can save money while you stretch.

Q: Where are you based if I were to come to the studio for my session?

A:  The Stretching Space is located in Gracia; Calle de Ros de Olano 11

Q: Can I gift a package to a friend?

A: Yes, its a great gift idea! I've had clients gift their spouses, friends, and business partners a stretch or a package and one of them has actually said that it was the best thing that's happened to him in 5 years other than meeting his partner! He is a funny man, and is also now a committed client, constantly benefiting from the his stretching sessions. Contact me and ask how we can arrange this for your friend.

Q: What if I have any past injury, is it still safe to stretch?

A: Yes, in most cases it is safe to stretch if you have a previous injury. It depends on how recent the injury was - if it was in the past couple months, you should have ideally seen a health practitioner and been given a rehabilitation plan, or the OK to commence activities. If not, then I would recommend that before starting your stretching program. That being said, we can always work around your injured area or avoid it all together and just focus on the rest of the body, seeing as it is a full body stretch you'll get!

Q: Is there anything I need to do prior to our session to prepare?

A: Together, at your first stretch, we will fill out a health history form, so I can get to know more about your body, health goals, and what you're hoping to get out of Assisted Stretching. From there, I will explain in detail the stretching process, so that you have an image in your mind about what is to come, and then we will get into the stretch!

Just wear flexible clothing that you feel comfortable stretching and being moved in all directions in, as well as a fresh pair of socks, as I'll be touching your feet throughout the stretches. I provide all the equipment, as well as water or tea.
